What does Matterize Labs do?
Full-stack firmware development for smart home devices. We take your hardware from peripheral drivers to Matter certification and DCL listing.
What protocols and platforms do you work with?
Matter, Thread, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, BLE. Platforms: Espressif, Nordic Semiconductor, NXP, Silicon Labs, Qorvo, STMicroelectronics, Renesas, Luckfox, Yocto Project.
How long does Matter certification take?
A first-time product runs 3-9 months from working prototype to DCL listing - most of it scheduling and rework, not testing. Our engagements compress that: 6-10 weeks from hardware integration to DCL listing, because we pre-test against the harness before the lab ever sees the device.
Do you only build Matter firmware?
Matter is our core. We also handle Thread mesh networking, Zigbee bridging, BLE commissioning, and custom protocol implementations when the product requires it.
What do you need from us to start?
Working hardware prototypes or dev boards, schematics, and access to your SDK/toolchain. We work within your existing tooling - no forced platform changes.
Do you work with startups?
Yes. Our clients range from Kickstarter-stage startups to established manufacturers.
What's included in full-stack?
Silicon and hardware bring-up, firmware and the Matter application layer, connectivity, security and identity, certification to DCL listing, production, a companion app built by a mobile partner, and cloud with OTA.
